Megalodon-Wordsearch Puzzel

The Megalodon-Wordsearch Puzzle is a fun fossil activity for children. To insure the success of younger children look at the word list at the bottom of the puzzle. Prepare an introductory lesson that will cover vocabulary and concepts that will be new. Then when the children receive the puzzle the large scientific terms will not be overwhelming. All of the words are defined on our megalodon pages. Secondary students should be able to complete this wordsearch without previous lessons, though it is likely that they will get more out of it if they are familiar with the vocabulary.
