I'm not 100% sure as I am not a pro at fossil identification, but, I have a fossil very much like this. I'm not sure when you submitted this, but, just in case you still don't know, I'll tell you. I believe it to be a Favosite fossil. A Favosite is an extinct type of coral.

This looks like coral to me. It has been worn smooth by the river. You live in an area that has Cretaceous rocks at the surface.
