Fossiliferous Limestone

Fossiliferous Limestone

I found a rock while digging. After cleaning with vinegar a small fossil appeared. Do you know what it is?

Thank you for the information regarding the rock. The vinegar did create a fizzle.

Lots of Fossils
by: Doug

This is full of fossils! My guess is fossiliferous limestone. Did it fizz when you put vinegar on it? Yhe largest of the fossils I don't know what it is. Just under that is an ammonite, note the spiral shape. Then there are lots of fossil fragments.
