Hi, My Dad found this rock/fossil in Arizona and gave it to me. I am so curious as to what it is. Your attempt to identify will be greatly appreciated. Than you for your time, Crhristi

Dad's Rock

Hi Christi,

This appears to be a crinoid stem. My standard disclaimer is that it is a challenge to identify fossils from a photo. But I am pretty certain that this is crinoid parts. You can learn more about crinoid here: https://www.fossils-facts-and-finds.com/crinoids.html

Thanks for your submission.
