I think I found a bone it was covered in shale which had lots of fossilized leaves which I've found loads. I found it on Loughor foreshore Swansea.

Michael,

I can't tell from the photo if this is bone. Look for cell structure. If it is bone you will be able to see signs of cell structure especially in the white part.
