Paleozoic Fossils

Dan,

I cannot identify any of your specimens.

Assuming that the rock came from somewhere reasonably close by, they should be either from the Missippian or Devonian Periods.

The finger looking thing is just weird! Because of the age of the rocks it can't be a finger, human or any other primate. They just didn't exist then. If it could be a finger it wouldn't appear with skin and fingernail the way that it looks. Having said all of that it sure looks like a finger!
