Fossil fish?

Found on the beach at Robin Hoods Bay North Yorkshire.. There is another fish tail end underneath the head of the fish which confirmed to me that this was not a incidental mineral deposit. Just wonder if anyone could ID it..

That looks very much like a cross section of a belemnite rostrum.

I have some that look very similar found on the East Yorkshire coast.

Sorry Andy I cannot identify your specimen.

The local Gem, Mineral and rock club has members that will be knowledgeable about your find. Most clubs have websites with contact information.

The paleontology dept of the nearest college would be another place to find help.

The next best thing is to post pictures where fossil/rock collectors will be able to give you some feedback. Here are some fossil forums where you can do that:
